Dit schilderpaneel is voorbehandeld met gesso en bestaat uit 5 mm dik MDF en is ideaal voor het werken met acrylverf, plakkaatverf, olie- en pastelverf, kleurpotloden, vernis, stiften, etc. Het biedt ook voldoende stabiliteit voor veeleisend vulwerk en collages. De fijne oppervlaktestructuur zorgt voor een zeer goede hechting. De achterkant van het gesso-schilderbord is onderlegd met stroken grenenhout. De diepte van 1,9 cm maakt zowel de directe ophanging als de omlijsting met frames met schaduwvoegen mogelijk.
