Generals schuurplankje iwordt gebruikt voor het bijslijpen van de punt van pastelpotloden en het schoonmaken van doezelaars.

Een schuurplankje bestaat uit een houten blokje met schuurpapier erop bevestigd. Door het potlood over het oppervlak te bewegen, wordt het glad en gelijkmatig geschuurd.
