We opted for tubes, because then you get a lot more paint for your money: 6 ml instead of 1.6 ml. But indeed, it paints better from a cup.
That is why you get an empty cup from us with every tube of watercolor paint. You can fill that yourself from the tube, let it dry and paint. Eveline's tip: clean the screw thread of the tube thoroughly before screwing the cap back on, so that it will be easier to open the next time.
